MIRC - Rustic Alaskan Cabin~

Our island property is the Middle Island Recreational Cabin, Middle Island is located
within beautiful Sitka sound part of Southeast Alaska's majestic coastline.

Middle Island is five miles from historic Sitka, the cabin is nestled in a quiet cove
ideally located for day trips to surrounding islands.  It is a large cabin with loft that is
able to sleep six adults comfortably  and can be rented by the day or week.  

The cabin has cooking facilities -- three burner propane oven and propane BAR-BBQ,
utensils, water, wood stove, and the basic cooking essentials (i.e. spices, oil, etc.)

The cabin has excellent anchorage, it is a great destination for kayak's.  Quiet and
peaceful location with great beaches and hiking trails.

  • Large Windows give ample view of surrounding area
  • Propane stove, you will need to bring your own propane bottles.
  • There is also a generator on site that takes gasoline.
  • 5-10 Minutes from Sitka
  • Easy Beach Access, great for Kayaks, Small Skiffs and Drop Bow Boats
  • Middle Island does have bear concerns and bear skatt has been seen in the
    area summer of 2008. If you are not aware of the food storage steps that
    need to be taken in the Alaska wilderness, please be sure to ask.

Summer $100.00 per night.
Winter $75 per night
$10 for each additional person,
over four people.

Summer Rates are from May 1 -
Sept 30, Winter Rates Oct 1 -
April 30.
